Hello, and welcome to my blog!

I have an operational and engineering career spanning more than 25 years with considerable experience in senior positions for global organizations. I’ve worked both in Canada and abroad, including Europe and South America. 

I am adept at identifying and eliminating operational inefficiencies, as well as profitably managing periods of phenomenal growth for companies. Most recently, I have run my own consulting business providing senior advisory services in Operations to companies such as Gates Corporation, and Decoma International (a subsidiary of Magna International). Prior to this, I was President and CEO of various companies.  I’ve  spent many years at Magna International, in increasing roles of responsibility, supporting it from its early years during its period of rapid growth. 

I was a member of the Board of Directors for several companies in North America and Europe.  

I am the holder of numerous patents in automotive trim and lithium metal polymer battery applications. 

I was educated in Belgium and graduated in the following fields:

• Mecanique de Precision
• Fine Mecanique
• Electromecanique 
• Master of Tool and Die Making
